Our restaurant has three major strengths:

1. Approachability — many guests are new to Indian food, so first-timer language, simple menu guidance, and “safe” favorites like Butter Chicken matter.

2. Chef identity — Anita gives the restaurant a personal, handmade feel. It is not generic Indian food; it is “Anita’s” food.

3. Location — Elk Rapids gives the restaurant a summer-tourist focus, especially with visitors moving through Torch Lake, Alden, Bellaire, Central Lake, Traverse City, and US-31 routes.

Yesterday, four women came to our restaurant. So much fun!

Mahjong is a Chinese tile game, usually played by four people, using a set of 144 tiles with suits, winds, dragons, flowers, and seasons.
