What's happening with Brewrista And The Bean?

Hey Brewrista Family, you are all so very missed. I want to give you an update on what's happening with the bean!

But before I hop into all that information, I want you all to know a little more about Brewrista And The Bean.

I opened her up in 2018 in the small town of Hinckley, Illinois, little ole me working a full-time job and building this huge dream of mine…. This dream came with lots of trials, even more prayers and abundant human connections.

Fast forward to 2026… 8 years later, and guess what? LOTS & LOTS of prayer, continued beautiful connections, and even more trials!

Because of these connections, I realized a gift in my life from God, is the passion of serving anyone and everyone, whether it's coffee or volunteering a helping hand in hard times.

When Hurricane Helene hit, I knew my calling in this world was greater than “just serving” coffee!

My heart still hurts from that event, but I am grateful that the Brewrista Family came together to make a positive impact during a hard time.

Watching so many people come together and be a community greater than oneself is a memory I cherish forever. I could write a book of my whys, but the Holy Bible exists for this reason! Our purpose in life is so simple… Love People! And what better way to love others than to bring amazing humans together and serve! AHHH What a rich experience.

Because of that event, I felt called to join the US military back in November. I closed the company temporarily and have been focusing and building more skills to serve my country and community.

Alrighty! Here is the update on Brewrista And The Bean….

I am happy to let you know I have completed the first part of my military training. This being said, I still have another 4+ months of training to go. I have a break in my training for a few weeks, and then I will be sent back for tech school.

Due to the short period of time between my training sessions, I will not be opening the coffee trailer until after I have completed 100% of my training.

I know this is not the news you wanted to hear! It feels like FOREVERRRRRRRRRR!

GOOOOD NEWS!!!

We will be selling coffee beans, next-day lattes, and merch during this waiting period to continue bringing in funds for the dream bean goals! (MORE DETAILS COMING, ONE POST AT A TIME)

I want to thank you all for being patient, and suppportive since 2018, I know the Lord has huge plans for Brewrista And The Bean even now in the waiting season.

Our mission is to one day build a coffee community barn that hires Foster Kids out aging the Foster care system & veterans who want to be a part of a Godly community that cares for others! Big dreams take time, hard work and dedication. In a world full of corporate companies Brewrista And The Bean wants to plant seeds for the next generation and a place where connections are made!
