Hey everyone! Hope you and yours are doing well. This is a very hard thing to tell you all and I hate to be the bearer of bad news...but here it goes... Due to the increase of the ice cream prices and gas prices, we are not going to be able to do route sales this season. I went to an ice cream vendor event yesterday at the main distributor. When I saw how much the cost went up, my jaw hit the floor, then went through the floor to the basement. Then I was told the prices I'm looking at on the sheet went up since they printed it. It's also the same story with the ice cream supply chain, hit or miss. Now before I saw the ice cream price I said, well gas is up but I think we can make it work, we'll just put a gas fund tip jar on the serving window and it will help offset the cost. No big deal right? But the huge cost increase of the ice cream is the straw that broke the camel's back. Therefore we have to raise prices to the point that not many people are going to want to pay, or be able to pay with the economy the way it is. Which in turn makes route sales not feasible. We may do a few drive arounds here and there, but that's about it.
We will be open for all events, sports teams stops, school functions, family reunions, job place events and birthday parties or parties in general...etc. Please message on fb or text/call 412-526-8559 to get on the schedule. We will also visit Buena Vista pool daily once it opens. Any other community pools or similar gatherings of people in the area that would like daily or weekly stops, please message us. So sorry for the news everyone, Brandy and I are bummed out too...we're going to miss you all, including all our furry friends. Hopefully next year will be a better one for route sales😢
