Y’all we are so sorry to disappoint, but Buckland Acres Bistro is sold out of everything but French fries and drinks, and Red On Ridge is completely sold out of pies! We are still scooping ice cream though! Some flavors and quantities are limited!

Tomorrow is the day! We are so excited to host Buckland Acres Bistro and Red on Ridge pies along with ourselves at our place at 6600 Poling road from 11:30-7:30 tomorrow. Knead an Nourish had a sick baby this week and wasn’t able to get as much made as she wanted, but what she does have will be available at their place less than a mile around the corner from us. We hope to see a great turn out tomorrow!

Now for a bit of housekeeping. Please do not park in front of the barn or the corn between the barn and the garage. That’s where the Bistro will be parked. Feel free to park in the stoned area of the barn yard like you see our two vehicles parked in the photos. There is plenty of parking. We will have picnic tables set up as well.

For those of you that want coffee with your pie. We will have a coffee table set up. Feel free to help yourselves. We don’t usually set out a tip jar but if you would like to donate, we will have a place for donations there which will be given directly to the Burnett family. They are a local family whose 4 year old son had an accident last weekend that resulted in a foot injury and an unexpected stay in Columbus. He is doing well but will have a lengthy recovery and rehabilitation with many trips to Columbus. We would like to show them our support and help to ease some worry for them.

Here is the link to the GO FUND ME for the Burnett family if you would like to donate that way.

As promised, here is our menu for the October 4 event at 6600 Poling Road, Elida. I made the fall flavors yesterday and if you are coming, you are in for some delicious options! We have an awesome selection of flavors that are not normally in our dipping cabinets and they are "chef's Kiss"!! Hope to see you there.

There will also be half gallons available for purchase and pick up that day. Keep in mind that this is the end of our season and most of these flavors will not be made again this year. I have updated our online order form, so quantities are up to date. If you want to ensure that you get what you want, we suggest that you place your order ahead of time using the form below and pick it up the day of the event. Any ice cream remaining after the event will be packaged in smaller containers and posted for sale.

Missing our local burger joint being open on Sunday’s? If so, we have you covered on Sunday, October 4. We will be hosting four local businesses so join us for some locally produced burgers, locally made homemade ice cream, pie and sour dough. This will be your last chance to get some J & M Homemade Ice Cream this season. We will be serving up our usual menu, minus dumplings because there will be PIE! Plus we will have flights with some fall ice cream flavors as the feature! More details about those options later.

So Mark your calendars and spread the news!

🎉🎊🎉 Hope y’all are ready to celebrate with us today and tomorrow at the 76th Annual St. Joseph’s Festival in Wapakoneta, OH! We have some extra special sweet treats on the menu! 🔻

Some things are quintessentially timeless…like freedom, faith, family, and a scoop of classic Neopolitan ice cream! 🍓🍫🍦 In honor of America’s 250th birthday, we’re serving up our patriotic twist on an old favorite - 🇺🇸✨ The Founding Fathers ✨🇺🇸 - three classic flavors in one scoop, because just like our nation, they’re even better together!

If sweet and frosty sips are more your style, raise a float to 250 years! 🥤 We’re pouring two new fountain fizzes!
🫐 The Betsy Ross Blue Raspberry Float is stitched together with a bold mixed berry flavor worthy of it’s own stars 🌟
🍓 The Star-Spangled Strawberry Float is bursting with spectacular berry goodness that’s red, refreshing, and ready to celebrate!

America has long been known as the land of opportunity; a land where hard work, family traditions, and small businesses can flourish. We’re incredibly grateful for the freedom and opportunity to make and share a little vintage Americana through Grandma Jane’s family recipes for homemade ice cream, and even more grateful that you, our loyal customers, have the freedom and opportunity to enjoy it!

Thank you for supporting our small business - a homegrown operation that reflects the value of hard work and integrity, and honors a family legacy, much like that of this country’s forefathers. Your patronage means more to us than you’ll ever know, and every scoop served, every shake handspun, allows us to continue sharing a little bit of love and patriotism with you! ❤️

🦅 CHEERS to ✨250✨ years of freedom, faith, family, friendship, and community - and to nearly 30 years of life, liberty, and the pursuit of ice cream! 🇺🇸

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy 4th of July! 🎂
