My dad is currently doing physical therapy and charming all the nurses and therapists.

I thought those of you who know him might get a kick out of a John Paul quote of the day,

I helped push him into the gym and we see weights and stairs and bands and a lot of different equipment.
He takes one look around and says, “But where’s the trampoline?”😂

Boy, I tell you…our stuff cabbage rolls are something else. If it’s not the favorite thing on our menu, it’s gotta be in the top five.
Folks love, love, love our stuffed cabbage rolls. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a generational thing…In ten or twenty years will everyone who loves cabbage rolls and stuffed green peppers and chop suey and such be gone? Who knows? You don’t see many teenagers ordering beef stew though, I know that. Maybe I should create some sort of young people eating old people food promotion lol
I bet they’d love it if they tried it!!

I’ve just been informed (thank you Linda U.!) that it’s National Hamburger Day.

Well, there’s few things we like more than a fake, meaningless, made up holiday! 😂🍔

We haven’t done half price burgers in FORVER so today seems like the perfect day to bring that back!

This is such a great picture because when she’s old and gray she can show it to her grandkids…this was my graduation day and this was the restaurant I worked at when I was a young girl! Hopefully she will have wonderful memories of her high school years and her first job💕💕💕

So I’ve had this idea for a while now and my husband and son are going to try and make it come to life for me.

I thought it would be so cute to have a little circular arbor with flowering vines climbing up it. I guess will see in a few looong months if it works! lol
They planted mandevilla on each side. I hope they take off!

Greek day!

If you ever ordered our gyros plate or Greek salads you know they come with Kalamata…or “Greek”olives.

What you might not know is that the olives are from the very olive groves Mr.Paul harvested in Greece in the 1930s and 40s. His family still owns and grows and creates these olives. His nephew and godson sells his family’s olives throughout Greece

If I can find it someday I’ll share some pictures of his family olive trees. Olive trees can live for over one thousand years and I swear if you see some of these trees they look ANCIENT. They’re so impressive. Anyway, if you love olives, I thought you might enjoy knowing they come from our family’s farms.
