Still on a high from this past weekend. We’ve been grinding for years… and today WE came out on top! 1st 🥇 place ribs in the Bleiblerville CookOff rib shoot out. Taking home the grand prize in the main event. Also had 5th place brisket, 10 place chicken, 2nd place beans, 5th place bartenders choice and 2nd overall! We couldn’t do it without each other, our spouses who do so much and our sponsors! Thank you all! The weather was awful but we didn’t let it stop us. Thank you Gator Pit BBQ Pits Rich Robin for building this amazing pit that got the ribs and brisket right!

Big review here. Great spot, barbecue was excellent! Brisket was on point. Pork rib great to excellent, sausage was sound for a beef link. I don’t really care for all beef links. Turkey stole the show for shooo! I’ll say this again, these barbecue places are going to run the common man right out the door with these prices. This is an industry problem, not just this restaurant. Definitely destination worthy. Thanks and the Lockhart office for taking me!

Alright folks, I’ve been keeping this place under wraps for long enough. If you want a good place to get top tear Barbecue at a reasonable price, in Central Texas, this IS the place. Now don’t ruin this for me. Not many places left in the barbecue world that don’t gouge the crap out of you left . 

We’ve seen a big uptick in orders for Christmas Briskets and BBQ this year, friendly reminder our last day OPEN is December 23rd, so get your orders in ASAP as Saturday is the last day we’ll be taking them….cooking, cooling, and vacuum-sealing done properly is a 3-day process, mostly because each brisket wants me to take a picture with them to send home to mom….GIT ‘R DONE….;-)
