Eldora Social Club patrons and followers, I am reaching out today to let you know of recent and sudden circumstances that will require that my time and efforts be concentrated elsewhere. Recently a family member was injured in an accidental fall and injured both shoulders which will require rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders with lengthy recovery and rehabilitation periods after each surgery. In turn, after their recovery, I will be in need of two knee replacement surgeries myself and recovery periods after that. In order to take care of my loved one during their recovery and rehabilitation, it is clear that I will no longer be able to manage and operate two full time businesses simultaneously, one daytime business and one nighttime business. I have made the decision to concentrate my business efforts on my office of Fidelity Abstract & Title Company and freeing up the time needed to tend to my family’s needs. I have also made the difficult decision to offer The Eldora Social Club for sale in hopes of finding the next entrepreneur to carry on their passion for the restaurant business. We will continue to operate the Social Club leading up to the first scheduled surgery which will be in mid-October. I encourage anyone holding a gift certificate from the Social Club to use them prior to mid-October. I am proud of the food and libations that John, Dillon and myself have worked together to bring to the delight of our patrons and the service that has been provided by all of our servers and bartenders over the years at the Eldora Social Club.
