It takes a village 🤍

When the restoration of Fishermen’s Inn began, bringing this special place back to life was a dream that took many hands, many hours, and many people who believed in what it could become.

One of those people was John Silagi, someone near and dear to our hearts, who played a special part in the very beginning of that journey by building and restoring the bridge that has since become such a familiar part of the Fishermen’s Inn grounds.

More than a decade later, countless couples have walked across that bridge, gathered with the ones they love most, and stopped there for photographs on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

We recently added a plaque and bench in John’s honor, a small way to remember the hands and heart that helped shape Fishermen’s Inn into the place it is today.

It takes a village to build a dream, and we’ll always be grateful for the people who helped build ours.
