La Paz Mexican Restaurant is located @ 514 Center St. in sunny El Segundo, California. Serving the community since 1976 when Jose & Josefina first began. Tasco Myers operated from back in the 70s all the way up to 2005. Today, La Paz has an established clientele that’s literally quite like family. From local students who stop on by and do their homework while enjoying an afternoon snack, to entire families that come in on a weekly basis to enjoy an authentic freshly cooked Mexican meal.

We are deeply moved by the outpouring of kindness, messages of support, and heartfelt concern we’ve received over the past few days. Your solidarity means more than words can express, and we are truly grateful to everyone who has reached out or kept us in their thoughts. ❤️

We are reaching out to share our situation after a recent car accident that severely damaged La Paz Mexican Restaurant, a cherished part of El Segundo for 47 years. The impact of this event has been overwhelming, not just for our establishment but for our dedicated staff and their families. As we navigate this challenging time, our insurance won't cover immediate expenses for at least three months, putting a strain on our ability to support our team.

We are seeking your help to raise $60,000 to cover one month of operating costs, ensuring we can continue to pay our 11 employees and meet our financial obligations. Any contribution, regardless of size, will have a profound effect on our ability to recover and reopen our doors to the community we love.
