We are aware of a highly offensive post circulating on social media created by a former independent contractor/KJ who tagged our business.

We want to make it unequivocally clear: the views and statements expressed in that post do not reflect our values, our business, or our community.

Immediate action was taken, and this individual’s contract was terminated. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for hatred, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.

Our venue has always been, and will always be, a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We appreciate our community for bringing this to our attention and holding the standard of respect we all deserve.

We have recently been made aware of an unauthorized, deeply offensive flyer and event description circulated online by an independent Karaoke Jockey (KJ) contracted by our venue.

We want to state unequivocally that Sushi Babe Karaoke & Grill does not condone, support, or tolerate hate speech, homophobia, or bigotry of any kind. This rogue post was created entirely without the knowledge, consent, or approval of management, and it was never posted on our official business channels.

Discrimination goes against everything we stand for. We have cut all ties with this individual, and they will no longer be permitted to host events or work at our establishment moving forward.

We deeply apologize to our community, especially during Pride Month, for the hurt and distress this unauthorized post has caused. Our venue has always been, and will continue to be, a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone.

Thank you to those who brought this to our attention.
