Cafe At The Curve Hey Eggertsville! We are creating a space for you! Meet up at The Curve this summer on Saturday and Sunday mornings to sit, sip and share.

We are creating a place for you! Coming this summer to Eggertsville: the Cafe at the Curve. Beginning July 18th and running every Saturday and Sunday morning through Labor Day Weekend (8am-12pm), the Cafe at the Curve will be a new space in Eggertsville sit, sip and share! The lawn area in front of St. Paul’s Lutheran will be turned into space to eat, drink, read, rest, play and connect to communi

ty or spend time on your own. There’s no coffee shop in Eggertsville, so the church is standing in this gap to test run a new opportunity that will include healthy drinks, coffee and tea, Food Carts like Cruisin’ Crepes (check them out on Facebook) on Sunday mornings, running, walking and biking groups and more. Or you can just bring a book, tablet or the newspaper and relax. The “Leave One, Take One” Library (dedicated to children’s book author Margery Facklam) will be filled with children’s books, other novels and spirituality books for reflection. Running, biking and walking groups will meet at the Cafe at 9am Saturday.

Welcome back summer!! It's time to get geared up and announce that the Cafe At the Curve will re-open on July 23th. 8am-12pm each Saturday and Sunday.

And a VERY special announcement that we will have our own food truck! Daily Bread Food Truck mission will launch this summer and be serve delicious "all day breakfast and love" each Saturday and Sunday. Like the FB for more updates.

Running and walking groups will meet at the Curve each Saturday morning at 9am as well. We'll have new lawn games out each week as well!

As summer draws to a close, so does The Cafe at the Curve. Thank to all who stopped by from the community and neighborhood.

THIS WEEKEND, SUNDAY ONLY. Cruisin' Crepes will be will us one last time. Runners can fit their own run into their schedule when it's cool enough. Stay hydrated.

Couch 25K Runners - You have a warm up and 2.5-2.75 jog/run this week. (Or roughly 25-27 minutes) Remember to sign up for the Brothers of Mercy Run in Clarence on September 11th.

A team will be leaving from The Curve this Saturday to work on a Habitat for Humanity house. If you've never volunteered at Habitat, this is the week to try!

Come to the Curve at 8:30am, power up with a Curve Bun and some coffee, then head to HfH for as much of the day as you can give.

The Brothers of Mercy Campus - a Christian provider of inter-related adult residential, health care and rehabilitative services - is holding the Oktoberfest 5K Nature Run & Walk on September 11, 2015 as a fundraiser in support of the Brothers of Mercy mission to care for the sick and elderly!

Great start to our running and walking groups this past Saturday. Both groups this Saturday will leave at 9am. Walkers, feel free to bring dogs (that are good around people and other dogs please).

Not too late to start the Couch to 5k group. This week, try and get two workouts in: 60 seconds jog and then 90 seconds brisk walk; repeat that 8 times. Should take between 20-24 minutes. Then on to Week 2 on Saturday!

So great to connect with the community at The Curve!

18 runners and walkers started the day off with activity ranging from Couch to 5K beginnings to 7:15 mile pace. Then 50 people stopped by The Curve throughout the morning for the first day!

We begin at The Curve tomorrow morning, Saturday from 8am to 12pm. Stop by for some iced coffee, teas and lemonade. Plus, the unveiling of the Curve Bun.

Runners and walkers this week! Both group starting at 9am. No biking groups this week but if you are out on a ride, stop by for water or Gatorade.

Dogs welcome. Water dishes and biscuits available!
