❄️ Friendly Reminder for Our Neighbors! ❄️
As we prepare for the snow, let’s work together to help our
Public Works teams and First Responders keep our community safe.
When the streets are covered, our plows need every inch of space
to clear the way for emergency vehicles and safe travel.
Under Municipal Code § 259-29, a snow emergency exists whenever accumulation covers the streets. Please help us out by keeping all vehicles off the following streets until plowing is complete:
· Arago Street · Beethoven Street · Buerger Street · Campe Street · Claudius Street · Diesterweg Street
(North Side): Between Bremen & Hamburg Aves.
· Philadelphia Avenue
: Between Atlantic Ave & Duerer St.
Why it matters:
· Safety First: Clear streets allow fire trucks and ambulances to reach those in need without delay.
· Efficiency: Our DPW crews can plow "curb-to-curb" much faster when they don't have to navigate around parked cars.
· Avoid Hassle: Vehicles left on these streets may be considered a nuisance and can be removed at the owner’s expense.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Egg Harbor City safe and clear this winter! Stay warm, everyone!
