It never ceases to amaze me that our little poke shop gets any recognition at all. If you don't know our story, I was laid off from a corporate job about 10 years ago. While unemployed, one of the things I wanted to drown my sorrows in was some good poke for this born and raised local Hawaii Bruddah. I went everywhere in and around the city and couldn't find any true Hawaiian Style poke so I hit up my very old friend Deming and pitched him this crazy idea of opening a shop and he was the instigator of this journey we've been on. I owe it to him because he convinced me to do it - so thank you so much Deming and Michelle Maclise for changing my life! To be on this list of great Seattle restaurants is so humbling and you cannot believe how grateful I feel. Mahalo Eater Seattle and Live Aloha!!
