Sometimes, a restaurant becomes more than just a place to eat. ❤️

This week, one of our longtime customers came in to celebrate her birthday.

She told us she wanted to keep it quiet and simple this year. She had recently gone through heart surgery and a valve replacement, and it had been a very difficult journey.

She didn’t want a big celebration or to be in the spotlight, so we respected that and didn’t film her.

But we still wanted to do something small for her.

So after work, even though I was exhausted, I went home and made a little birthday balloon gift for her. 🎈

Because after knowing someone for so many years, they stop feeling like “just a customer.”

They become part of the story of your restaurant.

And honestly, we never know how many more birthdays we’ll get to celebrate together.

So if we can make someone feel a little special today,
why not?

It’s little moments like this that remind us why we love what we do.

I’m a BIG fries person. 🍟❤️
Seriously… whenever I go somewhere, I almost always order fries. 😂

So when it came to choosing the fries for Cafe de Taipei, I was very picky. I tried so many different ones before finally finding this one.

And honestly? This is the best fries I’ve had so far. 🙌🍟

They’re VERY crispy on the outside, but still delicious and flavorful inside. And you don’t get that sandy, dry texture you sometimes find with fries from other places. These stay crispy and satisfying!

I searched for a long time to find a fries that I truly loved, and this is the one we chose for our restaurant. ❤️

If you’re a fries lover like me, you HAVE to come try them! 🍟😋
Trust me… they’re a little different. 😉
