Friday is going to be a really hard day around here. 🤍
After three incredible years, our Shyann is heading off to her next chapter in Idaho
THREE years of dedication- man that’s hard to find these days.
It’s so hard to put three years of friendship, memories, laughter, hard days, big days, early mornings, late nights, and countless conversations into words. She has been my shop manager, but that title doesn’t even begin to cover what she has been to me or to Sweet Friends.
She has been my friend, my coworker, my sister, my confidant, my sounding board, my right hand, a leader, a problem solver, and someone I could always count on.
For three years, she has helped keep this place moving. She has helped countless customers with cake orders and celebrations, jumped in wherever she was needed, worked register and coffee bar, helped keep orders organized, supported our team, solved a million little problems, and handled so many of the things most people never saw. So much of what she did happened behind the scenes, but it mattered. Sweet Friends would not be what it is today without the time, energy, leadership, and heart she poured into it. And for me personally, this goodbye is so much harder than saying goodbye to an employee. I’m saying goodbye to someone who has been woven into such a huge part of my life. Someone I’ve laughed with, cried with, vented to, celebrated with, and leaned on through some really big seasons of life and business.
We are heartbroken to see her go, but so incredibly proud of her and excited for this beautiful next chapter for her in Idaho. 🤍
