It’s October 1st. Fall is here. Let this be your gentle reminder to let go. Let go of the past, the disappointments, the discontent. Let go of the fear, the chaos, the pain. Let go so you can make room for more joy and hope. Embrace the freedom and welcome enchantment. Lean into new experiences and beloved traditions. Allow the magic to find you…because it will.

Fall back in love with life again.

If you need recommendations for books to accompany you as you fall, that’s why we’re here. Come see us and we’ll prescribe you a book. Or two. (We’d love to prescribe a cat too, but there are regulations…)

To make it more fun, come visit us for a chance to win a copy of the book and a ticket to see the film. Drop in to Wyrd Bookstore and search for copies of the book hiding throughout the store. If you find one with a bookmark inside, you’ve won!

We are so excited to welcome author illustrator Tara J. Hannon for a monster-ously good time! She will be offering expert drawing tips for bringing to life all kinds of spooky delights - including ghosts!!

Her books will be available for sale so you can go home with The Only Ghost and maybe a new spooky story.

This event is great for elementary school kids, and everybody’s encouraged to wear a bookish costume for a prize. Register early because spots are limited.

Come celebrate this Spooktacular season at Wyrd!

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to indulge in a night of self-care under the healing guidance of the experts at Annapolis Alchemists. Enjoy an evening out at our bookstore and take home some lovely new self-care techniques that will lead you feeling transformed in the best of ways. And maybe a few books too.

Back to school, back to Wyrd!

Come by and get some back to school books this weekend to read together before the first day. Or scope out your next study spot. Grab a book to motivate and inspire you, or maybe one to distract you from the things you don’t want to do yet! Bring a friend to catch up on all the things over some iced tea. Enjoy a few more mock-tales before our summer menu ends and our fall menu begins.

Let’s get this school year started right!
