Edgartown Yacht Club The Edgartown Yacht Club Edgartown is located on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, which is off the southeast coast of Cape Cod in the state of Massachusetts.

Established in 1905, the Club has been located at the present facility since 1927. The island waters are clear and the prevailing winds blow from the southwest, providing some of the best sailing conditions in the Northeast. Winds, waters and weather make our Club and Edgartown a beautiful place to visit. We have grown quite a bit since 1927 and currently have five locations in Edgartown. Our faci

lities include a sailing center on Chappaquidick, a tennis and fitness center, a Junior Yacht Club, and our main clubhouse with two dining rooms, a fine dining restaurant and a casual grill. The Countdown to ’Round the Island Is On!

Since 1938, EYC’s ’Round-the-Island Race has challenged sailors to take on 55 miles of Vineyard waters in one of New England’s most iconic races. We’re proud to have several EYC boats on the starting line for this year’s RTI! Be sure to cheer on “Algo,” “Iniki,” “Serendipity,” “Good Night Moon,” and “Temptation,” which will be skippered by EYC’s Bill Weeks as part of the Oakcliff Sailing team, as they race around the Vineyard on July 25.

A familiar sight on Vineyard waters! The J/120 “Murmur” is returning for another Edgartown Yacht Club ’Round-the-Island Race, continuing a tradition of bringing together experienced sailors, family, friends, and new crew members eager to learn.

“The RTI has become a bit of a family tradition for us… we keep coming back.”

Since 1938, the Edgartown Yacht Club ’Round-the-Island Race has brought sailors of all experience levels together to race 55 miles around Martha’s Vineyard. With stunning coastal views, friendly competition, and a same-day finish back in Edgartown, it’s a summer tradition crews return to year after year.

BarOne also opens today, May 27 and will be open Wednesday through Saturday starting at 5:00pm.

The Galley Grill is also open Thursday through Sunday from 11:30am-2:00pm
