I’d like to take a second this morning and ask for prayers. Some of you know, and many don’t. But my husband Mickey has been battling cancer for several years now. Last week we were informed the cancer has spread to his brain. This morning they are doing surgery to remove the tumor in the brain. Followed by radiation therapy in the coming days. We’ve always got some updates regarding the cancer in the other parts of his body. We got the news from the oncologist. Cancer in the lung has grown slightly. Cancer in the liver has gotten substantially bigger. One of the masses in his liver is obstructing the bile duct and they are going to have to do surgery to either put in a stent or remove the mass. UK really doesn’t have anything they can do right now for him. Later down the road the oncologist has one she can try but it’s not much different than the other treatment she has already given him and she wants to wait as long as she can in between the new stuff and the stuff she has already given him. They are sending him to Nashville to try to get him into a new trial there.
This has been a long battle for him and he is not ready to give up.
If you could please take a moment of your day to just say a prayer for him and for our family, it would be much appreciated.

Blue collar has closed its doors and some of the restaurant supplies, fixtures and decor are up for sale. Kenny will be there Wed-Sun 8-2 to be able to view or purchase items. Please do not reply to this post it will not be monitored due to Laura being in Texas for storm clean up

Life and times have been hard for us. We have given it a shot and God must have a different plan for us. Tomorrow (Saturday the 24th) will be the last day we open our doors. We have meet so many wonderful people and shared some amazing stories. Thank you to everyone for their love, support and happy memories.
