Not to rush the turkey… but I’m marinating dried fruit for Christmas! I promise I’ll not be doing a lot of Christmas posts ahead of schedule but I think it’s important to know all this dried fruit is about to spend 3 months soaking in spiced rum!!!

I now return you to enjoying the end of summer for a bit longer.

You get the camera on the stand, you record the cool video of mixing the granola, you go to press the button to stop recording only to realize as you press the button you’re just starting to record and you didn’t actually film the previous 5 minutes talking about all the amazing ingredients you use…

I can’t be the only one. I never intended to create content but I know you guys love seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff. Facebook asks me all the time to monetize my account and I refuse because I don’t want to be a slave to having to make videos and chase the algorithm I just want to bake amazing things because that is my passion and maybe share a few moments along the way. I never want the baking to be something I do just to get content because videography and editing isn’t my passion or the reason my business exists.

Who else with a small business tried to do the thing only to realize they failed to do the thing? Be honest! Have you done it???

Red Rocket Roasters Coffee House and Roastery has my organic sourdough English muffins and cobs today and share packs of my famous Belgian triple chocolate chip cookies. Oh AND they have jazz music and macarons by The Sweet Escape Macarons so you should swing by, hang out and chill!
