I've been baking professionally for about 6 years, so my Amazon order history is basically a graveyard of baking supplies 😂. Since its Prime Big Deal Days, I went through my past purchases and pulled out the things I actually use, love, and would buy again. No random products I've never tried just because they're on sale!

🍰 Fat Daddio's Cake Pans
These are my go-to cake pans! I use the 6", 8" and 10" sizes constantly. If you're getting into cake decorating, good pans make such a difference.

💟 Watkins Clear Vanilla 🔥 Prime Big Deal
I prefer to use real vanilla when possible, but if you want that bright white frosting without sacrificing flavor, this is what you're looking for. Amazon says I've bought this exact bottle 9 times 😂
https://amzn.to/4ANkDVX

🎨AmeriColor Gel Food Coloring
My go to food coloring for YEARS. A little goes a long way, and the Super Black has saved me from adding half a bottle of grocery-store food coloring more times than I can count. 😂

🍪USA Pan Half-Sheet Pan 🔥 Prime Big Deal - 18% off
A good sheet pan is one of those boring purchases that makes a surprisingly big difference. This is the one I use!
https://amzn.to/4AQIbcj

And my personal favorite! Amazon says I have ordered these a whopping 17 times!

🎂 Anti burst 12" tipless piping bags
These are my go-to for everything from broad boarders on cakes to intricate tiny details on cookies. I would be lost without these in my kitchen!

✨ My first Icing Smiles Call to Action is officially complete! ✨

This weekend I had the privilege of creating this Harry Potter-inspired cake for a very special 10th birthday. 🧡💜

When I stepped away from taking regular custom orders, one thing I knew I wasn’t ready to give up was baking for Icing Smiles. There is something incredibly special about being able to use a skill I love to help make a child’s celebration a little more magical.

For this one, the request was Hogwarts, all four houses, orange and purple, and the inscription “Level 10: Mischief Managed.” I had so much fun figuring out how to bring all of those pieces together!
I’ve made a lot of cakes over the years, but knowing why I was making this one made it feel a little different. ❤️

I’m so grateful to be an Icing Smiles Sugar Angel, and I’m really hoping this is just the first of many Calls to Action to come.
Happy 10th birthday! Mischief managed. ⚡️✨

As a Local Outreach Ambassador with Icing Smiles, I get to bring my time, talent, and heart to families facing a child’s critical illness.
We all bring something different to the mix—and together, we're Baking a Difference. 🎂

This set was a little bittersweet to finish because it was officially my last order on the books for Sweet Melissa’s.
For the past several years, this little business has been such a huge part of my life. What started with some sugar, flour, and a love of creating turned into more than I ever expected. I’ve had the privilege of making cakes and cookies and other treats for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, holidays, and so many of your biggest moments—and I can’t begin to express how much it has meant to me that you trusted me to be a small part of them.
To every person who placed an order, recommended me to a friend, shared a post, left a kind review, or came back year after year: thank you. 🥹 Your support allowed Sweet Melissa’s to grow into something I will always be incredibly proud of.
While I’m closing the chapter of taking regular custom orders, I’m definitely not done creating. 🎂🍪 I still love baking and decorating far too much for that! I plan to keep this page active and share photos of the things I create, hopefully start sharing some videos, and maybe even show a little more of the behind-the-scenes process along the way.
I’m not entirely sure yet what Sweet Melissa’s will look like in this next chapter—and I think that’s part of what makes it exciting. 💕
So here’s to the end of one really special era, and to whatever comes next. Thank you for being here, for supporting my little business, and for giving me so many wonderful memories over the years.
Sweet Melissa’s isn’t going away. It’s just turning the page. 🤍
