We would like to thank them not only for the impact they made serving the Eagle River Valley community on a daily basis but also for donating their remaining food items to be used for meals in our jail. We sincerely appreciate your kindness and wish you the very best in your next adventures!”

Thank you ECSO! Will, Marcey, Olivia and Gabriel are so grateful, thankful and blessed to have had the opportunity to serve our Eagle community and the Greater Eagle River Valley. Although, it is true that this is bittersweet as we close this chapter of our lives; we are all very excited for the adventures that lay ahead of us and to chase new dreams individually and as a family. It was our pleasure and we created memories and friendships that we will carry for a lifetime. We love you all!!

A message from the Stout House Family (originally posted July 19th):

Three months ago we were made aware that a potential buyer had reached out to the owner of the physical space that Stout House operates out of and wanted to know if Will and I would be willing to consider a new lease with them if they indeed did purchased the space. The new owner gave us the option to remain in the space for the duration of our lease or vacate the property in our desired timeframe. With this, our last day of operation will be Friday October 27, 2023. The new owner will take over the current space and launch a new concept within the current Stout House space in the Fall.

We know that our beloved Eagle community and family will ask the question…are you all ok and ok with this? And the answer is: YES!! Will, Marcey, Olivia and Gabriel have taken the last three months to think about, pray about and talk out every angle and every option available to us in this new ownership transition. And we came to the consensus that this is an unexpected gift presented to us. In the past year or so it has become more and more clear to us that this business does not bring us the purpose, passion or peace as it once had. Will, Marcey and Olivia are more than ready to close this chapter of our lives and move forward to explore new places, spaces, faces and find new adventure and growth.

The hardest part for our family when discussing and arriving at this decision was the impact it would have on our daily, weekly and yearly customers who have made Stout House part of their lives and daily routines for the past 9 years. There are no words or sentences that we can use to adequately convey the love, support, grace, kindness, happiness and fulfillment that our Eagle River Valley community has shown and given to our family and team members in these years. THANK YOU, to all of you who have endured with us the ups and downs, the smiles and tears, the laughter and trying times, the COVID pandemic and simply the day to day happenings of a small town hospitality business. We love each and every one of you reading this and we are so grateful that we have had this opportunity and experience 🌯♥️☕️

Stout House will amend our hours; effective July 29, 2023 we will be open Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The purpose behind these new hours is that we will not hire any additional employees, simply to let them go to find new employment when we close in about 90 days. Thank you for understanding and being kind to our current and AMAZING team.

Sorry folks! Our espresso machine has gone down and we have to wait on the part and an actual espresso machine technician to be able to come up to the mountains and fix it. Our previous espresso machine repair man ran off to drive big rigs 😂
