Almost five years. 🥹

How do you possibly wrap that up in an Instagram post?

Maddy has been part of Bowl of Heaven for nearly five years, and somewhere along the way, she became so much more than an employee.

We’ve watched her grow, laughed until we’ve cried, prayed together, talked through life together, dreamed about the future, and shared a whole lot of ordinary days that don’t feel quite so ordinary now that we’re saying goodbye.

For the last year, Maddy has also been the person behind so much of what you’ve seen here, photographing our food, our team, our family, and helping us tell the story of Bowl of Heaven.

But my favorite thing about Maddy has never been what she creates. It’s who she is.

She notices people. She cares deeply. She wants to leave people better than she found them. And she has certainly left us better.

Now she’s off to California for college, and while we’re going to miss her more than she probably knows, we couldn’t be more excited to watch what comes next.

Maddy, thank you for almost five years of memories. Thank you for loving our people. Thank you for helping us tell our story and most of all, thank you for becoming part of it.
