Happy Birthday to my youngest son, Kevin! He is NINE YEARS OLD!!!!!

He is a kid who knows EXACTLY what he wants and he is never afraid to ask for it. This year....he wanted "a cake shaped like a fat cat dressed as the Mandalorian and a cake shaped like a dog dressed as Darth vader! Oh and add storm trooper cats!"

This wasn't easy, but I'm so happy with how this turned out. And everything is 100% edible on this cake. I'll be posting videos tomorrow of my kids biting into the heads of the cat and dog! 😂😂😂

It's been a wild week. While we are all struggling right now, it has been amazing to see how this community has come together during this time. I'm seeing people open their homes to complete strangers. Local businesses feeding the community while asking for absolutely nothing in return. Neighbors are helping neighbors clean up debris. Towns offering their community centers for the public to cool down and charge their devices. Lake County came together strong during this time!!!

If there is a business that you feel needs to be acknowledged, please comment below. When all of this is over and life returns back to normal, I want to make sure I'm spending my money on the businesses that truly gave back. I don't want these places to feel like their generosity has gone unnoticed.
