The concept behind Pork in the Road is fairly self-explanatory, and there’s no better place for a pork-inspired menu than the second highest pork-producing state in the nation. There will be a few pork substitutes for our kosher and vegetarian friends out there, but rest assured, bacon and all of the other wonderful parts of the pig, will find their way into most every recipe.

🏈 SUPER BOWL MENU DROP 🏈

Seahawks vs Patriots

No Chiefs this year, so I went ahead and made sure the food would be the most exciting part of the night.

I’ll handle the cooking.

You handle yelling at the TV like you definitely knew that play was coming.

FiNGERS FOODS

Buffalo Chicken Lumpia

Buffalo chicken dip rolled up and fried because self-control is a myth and forks are for quitters.

Tita Tess’ Pork Lumpia

Savory pork lumpia made the right way. If you know, you know. If you don’t—ask somebody.

Smokey Buffalo Chicken Dip

A crowd pleaser so reliable we rolled it up and fried it too. See above. We meant what we said.

Elote Cheese Dip

Street corn queso loaded with flavor, cheese, and just enough confidence to steal the spotlight from everything else on the table.

Cracklin’ (Cajun flavor)

Fried Cajun pork belly bites. Crunchy, spicy, and the reason your chips suddenly don’t matter.

Deviled Eggs

Classic deviled eggs—creamy, zesty, and always the first thing gone no matter what else you ordered.

SMOKEY THiNGS

PITR Smoked Wings

Rubbed and hickory smoked, served with buffalo sauce and ranch or blue cheese. Choose wisely—we’re not getting involved.

Chef Szymon’s Cajun Boudin

Pork and rice–stuffed Cajun sausage with a little kick. Best eaten on crackers with hot sauce and zero shame.

Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork BBQ

Pork butt smoked overnight because shortcuts are for other people.

PITR Vegan BBQ

Smoky, saucy, award-winning vegan BBQ that somehow convinces meat-eaters to “just try a bite.”

BECAUSE WHY NOT

Magical Southern-Style Coleslaw

Creamy, crisp, tangy slaw—the one that makes people say, “I usually don’t like coleslaw.”

“Trust Us” Pickles

Made for the person who swore they hated pickles… until they didn’t. We’ve been proving folks wrong ever since.

Maple Bacon Chocolate Brownies

Rich, fudgy chocolate brownies with maple-glazed bacon because balance is important.

No Bacon in My Brownies Brownies

All chocolate, no bacon, still dangerous.

📍 Pick up at 2818 Chapel Hill Rd

📆 February 8, 2-5pm

FROM THE ROAD → HOMEGROWN DURM

For years, Pork in the Road was more than a food truck. It was a community. Late nights, long lines, festivals, catering gigs—and most of all, the friendships. I’ve made so many friends along the way, and without each and every one of you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you for being there and supporting PITR.

And before I move forward, a special thank you to Allison Overington, my former partner in the Pork in the Road journey. Without her, none of this would have existed. She rolled the lumpia you loved, and those “highdeas” that became staples—those were hers. She put her career on hold to chase this dream with me. We weathered hot shifts, cold shifts, a pandemic—she was there. Eventually, she returned to her path, and I kept pushing forward. But PITR was ours, and I’ll always be grateful.

Now, the truck may be gone to her new home, but Pork in the Road lives on. I’m expanding under Homegrown DURM—supporting food vendors, offering consulting, catering, and pop-ups, and growing in the commercial kitchen space. I’m still cooking. I’m still doing events, menus, pop-ups—so just get at me!

I’m also proud to be a year and a half sober. That clarity has given me a new perspective, and with that focus, I’m ready for 2026 and beyond. Thank you for everything, y’all. This is just the next phase—same heart, bigger table.

🖤💛
