Two of North Carolina’s top chefs are joining forces for one night only.

On Sunday, August 16, Peregrine Chef Saif Rahman will welcome James Beard Award winner Ricky Moore of Durham’s Saltbox Seafood Joint for the second installment of The Ember Series—an outdoor, wood-fired dinner in Peregrine’s garden.

The evening will preview new dishes from Moore’s forthcoming Saltbox Seafood Joint Cookbook, cooked live over an open fire ahead of the book’s September 29 release. Guests will also have an exclusive opportunity to preorder the cookbook at the event.

Expect a memorable celebration of North Carolina foodways, coastal flavors, friendship and live-fire cooking.
