Two whole years of memories with all of you. It’s not lost on us how fortunate we are to have spent another year with incredible people. To witness countless moments, connections, and relationships that have been celebrated and flourished within our space continues to be such a gift.

Thank you for believing in us and what we do, and for allowing us to be a part of your day-to-day. We’re forever grateful to all of you and to our city (Bull City forever and always).

OUR ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND IS HERE! 🩵🌱 We’re so incredibly excited to celebrate another whole year with y’all 🥹 From Fri 9/18-Sun 9/20, celebrate with us and enjoy the return of well-loved specials as well as fun activities and raffles!

Whether you recognize any or are trying them for the first time, we hope everyone enjoys these very special specials this weekend!

Raffles are also back again this year along with the chance to win a $500 bean flower gift card (aka a free year of boba)! We’ll have three raffle baskets: local artists, local businesses, and bean flower themed baskets 🩵 On Saturday 9/19 only, the first 50 people to visit us will receive a free tote bag featuring a new design 😌

We’ll also have some fun mini activities available for everyone! Our memory book will be back along with beanie coloring sheets and kits for making friendship bracelets + phone charms 🌱

Horchata is available through Sunday! 😌 In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, 100% of sales from Horchata will be donated to El Centro Hispano! Much love to the Martinez-Cifuentes family for sharing their recipe with us 🩵

we’re so excited to celebrate our second anniversary month with all of you! 🥹🩵 swipe to learn more about how we’re celebrating and our events for september!

we’ll be raffling off three baskets: bean flower, local artists, and local businesses baskets! each purchase will receive 1 raffle entry per day, which means you can receive up to 3 raffle entries if you visit each day of our anniversary weekend!

community spotlight: Sunny ☀️

“Sunny has been such a crucial part of the Bean Flower story, from helping teach Mahjong to new players to being the artist behind everyone’s favorite cats around Durham postcards, and even helping us with our photo prints for our recent anniversary show. We are so grateful to have Sunny in our community! He’s truly here for the pure love of Asian flavors, especially those he grew up with visiting his grandparents back home. Now, he channels his inner grandma in the love languages of fruits — being the only other person, just second to my mother, to randomly drop off varieties of fruits for our staff. We adore Sunny and hope you enjoy his creation, which he affectionately refers to as ‘his grass drink.’” 🩵

• At our upcoming K-pop Night, Shae will be popping up and vending 🌟🎵

• By popular demand, Angaea is back with a second Okara papermaking workshop 📜 Repurpose the okara fibers from our leftover soybean pulp and other organic scraps to make paper!

• Our art show in celebration of our second anniversary will be opening next Wednesday! 🌱 Beanie’s art show celebrates our team and some of our favorite memories 🩵
