We’ve made some big changes to how we handle things — new automated systems for our phone lines to get answers to you faster. Over 27 years, we’ve watched so much change, and we’ve always tried to meet it thoughtfully. We innovate. We evolve. We chase special food experiences that matter.

But this automation? It’s new territory for us, and honestly, we’re figuring out how to stay Guglhupf while we streamline. We want to get it right all the times, and we know we won’t always land there perfectly. Some of you might notice the difference. Some of it might feel clunky. And we need to know.

If you’ve experienced something worth mentioning like what’s working or what’s rough around the edge please tell us.

Every cup has a story. This one starts with people.

The coffee we roast at Guglhupf comes through our partnership with Cereza Coffee Importers , a company that believes great coffee begins long before it reaches the roaster. It begins with relationships, trust, and producers like Efrain of Finca Probando Ideas, whose care and dedication are part of every harvest.

Community isn’t just something we talk about around here. It’s something we choose, from the people we work with to the coffee we serve. We’re grateful to partner with folks who value transparency, invest in growers, and remind us that supporting one another creates something better for everyone.

We’re proud to share Efrain’s story and honored that every bag of Guglhupf coffee helps support the people behind it.

And yes…the coffee is pretty incredible, too.

🎇🩵🥨The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and we wanted to make sure you had our holiday hours on your radar.🥨🩵🎇

On Saturday, July 4, all Guglhupf locations will be open with limited hours, closing at 3 PM.

Between now and then, consider this your gentle reminder to stock up for the holiday weekend. A loaf for the table. A bottle of wine for sharing. A few favorite cheeses. Juicy bratwurst for the grill. And, of course, a box of flaky pastries for slow mornings and early starts.

We’ll be here with regular hours leading up to the holiday and again on Sunday, ready for coffee, brunch, and gathering around the table.

However you’re celebrating, we hope it’s filled with good food and good company.

The rain moved through, quick and quiet, and suddenly everything feels a little softer. Under the orange umbrellas, people linger a bit longer—finishing a drink, sharing a bite, letting the moment stretch just enough.
