The Glass Jug Beer Lab is a local craft brewery and retail craft beer store, taproom, and beer garden with a great selection of local and craft beer, featuring 20 rotating taps and a wide selection of cans and bottles of beer, wine, cider, mead, kombucha, and soda. The brewery is located just off I-40 on Hwy 55, convenient to RTP, Durham, Cary, Morrisville, and Apex, in the Greenwood Commons shopping center with some of our favorite local restaurants such as Sarah's Empanadas, Benetis, and True Flavors. The shopping center is also the location of the South Durham Farmer's Market every Saturday morning!

Meet Lagerithimic - a stout-drinker’s l***r. A l***r-drinker’s stout. This classic German-style Schwarzbier is crisp and refreshing, but brings some awesome subtle and complex notes of coffee, chocolate, and toast, all in an easy-drinking low-ABV l***r

And let’s welcome something lighter, Celestial Kolsch! Utilizing local pislner malt from Epiphany, this Kolsch-style b**r is fermented with a German Ale yeast following a l***r fermentation schedule. It is hopped with German Tettnang hops to bring a nice subtle fruitiness and light floral note in this super crushable, easy drinking Ale/Lager hybrid.

Love NC brews? Then join us in the b**r garden at RTP for a new home-grown tasting event on Saturday Nov 14th that features b**r, w**e, and c***r from producers across North Carolina. A portion of all sales, including VIP ticket sales, will be donated to support the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.

The Showcase is free to attend, but VIP tickets are available with some great perks at an attractive price!

Stay tuned for a full list of participating North Carolina b**r, w**e, and c***r makers.

If you purchase a VIP ticket, you also receive a unique Mountains-to-Sea Showcase stemless 12oz glass to use at the event and to take home with you. VIPs have a dedicated fast pass to the bars inside and outside.

Drinks can be also purchased by the glass in 8oz and 12oz sizes. If you purchase the VIP ticket, your first six (6) 8-ounce b**r pours, or 3-ounce w**e pours, are included with your ticket.

Lulu’s Chili Wagon will be here serving chili throughout the event. VIP tickets include a serving of chili with your choice of complimentary toppings and “bottoms”. Chili is available with beef, chicken, or veggie options.

Three Count Records will be spinning on stage in the B**r Garden all afternoon, cranking the chill vibes for your enjoyment.

Mountains-to-Sea Showcase t-shirts are available as an add-on purchase, but they are PRE-ORDER-ONLY! You must place your t-shirt order by October 23, and we’ll have it for you to pick up at the event. These are awesome shirts and are helping us raise money for the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, so consider adding one on to your order! This unique limited edition design is available in forest green or burnt orange, sizes Small - 2XL.

🎶🍺This Saturday’s show in our B**r Garden Concert Series promises to be rockin’! Peak City Band are energetic and creative interpreters of blues, rock ‘n’ roll, rhythm & blues and more. There’s something for everyone with their own special blend of music. This is one you gotta dance to!

🍗PLUS Smokin Aces Food truck will be serving up the best BBQ in town, and our outdoor bar will be open, slinging our most popular b**rs right next to the stage! You can open a tab inside or outside and add drinks throughout the event from either bar. We can also close your tab inside or outside - so spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the show.

We expect a full house, so consider bringing your own lawn chairs or blankets as tables will go quickly. Or, get here early to beat the crowd, grab a b**r and a picnic table. If our parking lot is full, overflow parking is available at the business complex next door. Just head between True Flavors and SpeeDee Oil Change Center to access the next parking lot. Remember - we’re a brewery, no outside beverages or coolers allowed.

Love great comedy and great b**r? Come see the best live standup comedy show at The Glass Jug - RTP THIS Saturday! We’ll have a killer selection of hilarious comics performing right outside in the B**r Garden so grab a drink and get ready to laugh.

At our evening show you will see a lineup of the best comedians from the Triangle, North Carolina and all around the Eastern US. Past Encore Comedy shows have featured comedians who have performed at famous venues such as the Comedy Cellar, the Laugh Factory, and Madison Square Garden, writers from shows such as SNL and Conan, Kill Tony Golden Ticket winners, writers for the Onion, and comedians with Don’t Tell and Drybar comedy specials. You never know who you’ll see next!
