CMON keep it real Durham... Its getting nasty downtown - and we are here to keep it DIRTY. Sometimes we're just open. Sometimes there's KARAOKE. Other times its dope live music (national and local) or a dance party, a drag show, a FUNdraiser - you name it. We have a photobooth and there is a PIZZA place upstairs (Pie Pushers Baby)! We believe in paying artists and creatives and workers alike. We are political bc we care. We are VERY welcoming though and love conversation! Check our calendar. It's always, always mostly fun. 🦂🦂🦂CALLING ALL SCORPIOS! 🦂🦂🦂

We welcome you to bring in the season of Scorpio with Shadow Werk, a q***r Techno party tapping into all things industrial, melodic, dub, electro and more. We’re taking it back to our roots with this one… OGs know it all started for Sonic Essence with our Detroit Durham Connection series way back in 2022 highlighting the origins of Detroit Techno with our friends at TecTroit Electronic Music Festival & Detroit Techno Militia 🙌🔊 We’re excited to get back into our techno bag, just in time for the thinning of the veil 🌙😶‍🌫️✨

🔮Get in touch with your darker side as we usher in the spooky season with a deeply local lineup of black and brown DJs - Sonic Essence, S*x on Decks, Kali Fuchis and Màs Culina. This is a real family affair you won’t want to miss 🕸️🕷️🖤

Oh yea, & it’s Ver’s birthday! 😸

Werk starts at 10:30pm, 18+, $10 all night The Pinhook. See you there! 😈
