Alright, we’re letting the internet in on one of the old Steamworks secrets. 🍺
Ask for a Train Smoke.

It’s Conductor Imperial IPA with Backside Oatmeal Stout layered on top, and both are on nitro, which is what gives the whole thing that smooth texture and lets those two b**rs play so well together.

It’s not on the menu, but we can ring one in if you know to ask.

Not exactly a starter b**r, but if you’ve been around Steamworks for a while, there’s a decent chance you already know why people keep coming back to it.

The neon sign has been doing its job for 30 years. The table usually takes it from there. 🍻

Steamworks has been on East Second since 1996, brewing b**r in downtown Durango and feeding whoever walks through the door. Locals, visitors, post-ride crews, families, old friends who said they were only stopping in for one. It all has a way of ending up looking something like this.

If you’re visiting Durango, look for the green sign at 801 E. Second Ave.

Fall Blaze is back. 🍂 🚲 We’re proud to help support , a 25-time national champion and one of the powerhouse programs in collegiate cycling, for a full day of riding, racing and fundraising on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The morning starts with coffee and a group ride, then things pick back up at 3:30 PM with happy hour, a silent auction, a chance to meet the athletes and short-track racing under the FLC clocktower.

Come out, have some fun and help raise money for scholarships that keep this incredible program rolling.

Slam Dunkel is built for weeks like this. 🌧️🍺

Cold, rainy weather and a dark German wheat b**r make a pretty good match. Ours is unfiltered, with the clove and banana notes you expect from a Dunkelweizen and a little more malt character underneath.

The style comes from Bavaria. Our version brought home Gold at the Great American B**r Festival. 🏅

Tomorrow’s the day. 🍻 We’re celebrating 30 years of Steamworks at Buckley Park, and YACHTZILLA is playing a FREE show.

We’ll be out there from 4–8 PM, with Yachtzilla taking the stage at 5:30 PM.
