The Overlook food update

We’ve made the decision to adjust our grill hours for the time being.

Starting now, The Overlook grill will no longer be open for lunch. With our current staffing, the best way for us to be consistent is to focus on the hours we can cover well.

For now, regular grill hours will be:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Weekend grill hours will vary depending on staffing, tournaments, and private events, so we’ll post weekend updates as we have them.

Barn Again Lodge pizzas and hot dogs will still be available during clubhouse hours.

We know this is a change, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Our goal is to make sure that when the grill is open, we can do things the right way and provide a better, more dependable experience.

Thank you for continuing to support The Overlook at Rolling Greens. We’re going to keep building this the right way.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Class of ’81 reunion at The Overlook over the weekend!

There’s something pretty special about seeing a group come back together after all these years to catch up, laugh, and share a few stories.

Yesterday was Jaidyn Glaus' last day with us at The Overlook!

Jaidyn has spent the past two summers helping us out in the kitchen, and we’re definitely going to miss having her around.

This fall, she’ll be heading to UW–Madison where she’ll be pursuing a degree in kinesiology.

Thanks for all of your hard work over the past two summers, Jaidyn. We wish you nothing but the best at Madison and in whatever comes next!

The Overlook food update

We’re in the middle of a very busy stretch at Rolling Greens, so food service will look a little different over the next few days.

Today, we are hosting Farmers League, so the grill will be closed for lunch and will open at 4:00 PM.

The grill will also be closed this weekend. On Saturday, we have a family outing followed by a class reunion, and on Sunday the course and clubhouse will be occupied all day for the Austin and Kayla Delong event.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We love seeing The Overlook used for tournaments, reunions, celebrations, and community events, but we know the schedule changes can be frustrating when you’re hoping to stop in for food.

Thank you for sticking with us through a busy August. We’ll keep doing our best to keep everyone updated.

A big congratulations and heartfelt thank you to Joe Bauer on his retirement!

We were honored to have Joe choose The Overlook at Rolling Greens to celebrate such a special milestone.

Joe has been a valued member, a loyal customer, and a familiar face around Rolling Greens for a long time, so it meant a lot to us to be part of this celebration. Nights like this are special, and we’re grateful Joe and his family chose to spend it with us.

Congratulations, Joe. Thank you again for celebrating with us, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter of life!

The Overlook food update

We are open for lunch today, but the grill will be closing at 2:00 PM as we get ready for a retirement party this evening.

We will also be hosting the Veterans Benefit Tournament tomorrow, so the grill will be closed all day Saturday.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding. August has been an incredibly busy stretch for us with tournaments, private events, and celebrations, and we’re thankful for all of the support.

We’ll keep doing our best to work around everything and keep you updated along the way.

It’s that time of year again. Summer is sadly winding down, and so is our seasonal help.

Our high school and college staff will be heading back to school soon, and we’re looking to fill a few spots at The Overlook at Rolling Greens.

We’re looking for:

- Bartenders
- Servers
- Cooks

Flexible hours, competitive pay, and year-round opportunities available.

The Overlook will be keeping its doors open this winter, so we’re looking for dependable people who want to be part of what we’re building.

Ellsworth Curd Burger Week at The Overlook!

It doesn’t get much more Wisconsin than this.

This week’s Burger of the Week is the Ellsworth Curd Burger, topped with melted American Swiss, fried Ellsworth cheese curds, and ranch on a toasted bun.

We’re also doing a matching Ellsworth Curd Dog with fried Ellsworth cheese curds and ranch.

Simple, cheesy, and very Wisconsin.

A quick Overlook update for today!

We will not be serving lunch today as we host the Durand Panther Youth Basketball Golf Fundraiser at Rolling Greens.

We WILL be open for the dinner crowd, with the grill opening at 4:00 PM!

It’s a beautiful morning and shaping up to be a great day. Good luck to everyone golfing today, and we’ll see you tonight at The Overlook!
