Join us in celebrating Socorro Garcia ("Soco") and Arturo Conde, the heart and soul of our prep team at Newk's Perimeter Mall.

Soco has been a valued member of the Perimeter Mall team since we opened our doors in 2015, while Arturo began his Newk's journey at Brookhaven in 2012. Together, they bring more than 25 years of Newk's experience and knowledge to our operation, making them an invaluable part of our daily success.

As a dynamic duo in prep, they consistently go above and beyond the call of duty. Whether it's ensuring we are fully prepared for a busy day, stepping in wherever help is needed, or supporting their teammates without hesitation, their dedication never goes unnoticed.

What truly sets Soco and Arturo apart is the culture they help create. They embody the family atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the Perimeter Mall location. From preparing family-style breakfasts and lunches for the team to organizing over-the-top birthday and holiday celebrations, they demonstrate through both their words and actions that Newk's is more than just a workplace, it's a family.

Their commitment, positivity, and genuine care for others make a lasting impact on every team member they work alongside. We are incredibly fortunate to have Soco and Arturo as part of our team, and their contributions continue to shape the culture and success of our restaurant every day.

⭐️ APPRECIATION POST ⭐️

Join us in celebrating our amazing team member: Cesaria Torralva, affectionately known as “CiCi”.

CiCi has been a part of the Newk’s Perimeter team since we opened our doors in 2013, and during her time with us she has made over 500,000 sandwiches!

CiCi is the epitome of a great teammate. Her dedication, positivity, and willingness is truly a gift and we are incredibly fortunate to have had her as part of the Newk’s Perimeter family for more than a decade.

CiCi leads by example and has a remarkable ability to remain cool, calm, and collected through the chaos of our M-F lunch rush. Above all, she is simply an incredible person to work with and makes everyone around her better.

Her legacy at Newk’s is especially meaningful. Her husband, Francisco, also works here, and their daughter, Jennifer, started with us as an hourly team member at just 16 years old. Jennifer went on to be promoted to Assistant Manager in 2019 and then General Manager in 2021. Her success is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and example she learned from both CiCi and Francisco.

We can’t think of anyone more deserving of being recognized! Come say hi to CiCi next time you grab lunch with us!👋
