The Boss Lady wasn’t created in a test kitchen.
It started with a road trip.
Chef Chris and his wife stopped at a restaurant in Portland and ordered a Dungeness crab pasta that completely blew them away.
The next morning, they actually called the restaurant and asked the chef how he made it.
Turns out the secret was a simple ingredient that created this rich, savory flavor they couldn’t stop thinking about.
Back in Florida, Chef Chris took that inspiration and created his own version.
A grilled ribeye topped with crab and a lemon butter sauce layered with bacon, heat, and deep umami flavor.
