After years of memories, margaritas, celebrations, and becoming part of the amazing Dunedin community… it’s time to turn the page on a beautiful chapter.

Today, we say farewell to Señor Rita's — and welcome something entirely new.

✨ Introducing Origen — a Tulum-inspired culinary experience designed around elevated flavors, immersive atmosphere, handcrafted cocktails, and unforgettable hospitality.

We are beyond excited to announce that Origen will be led by celebrity chef Jordan Arcuri — winner of Chopped and affectionately known as “The Beef Queen” — bringing a bold new vision and one-of-a-kind dining experience to Dunedin.

What started as a beloved local restaurant is evolving into something bigger — a destination built around luxury, energy, incredible food, and the spirit of Tulum. From premium steaks and fresh coastal flavors to elevated cocktails and a completely reimagined atmosphere, this is more than a rebrand… it’s a transformation.
