Still looking for a part-time cook. We really need help on weekends. Even if someone only wanted to work a Saturday or a Sunday - one day a week that would be a big help. We might also need some flexible hour help bartending in the near future.

One other option is we have a small house that we would could consider lodging as part of compensaation depending on the arrangement.

Two updates:

1. Our pizza oven is out of order and waiting for a part to fix it. We will likely not be selling pizzas for about a week!

2. Thanks for everyone patiently waiting as we have tried to improve the sewer system at the inn. It has certainly impacted the experience of our customers and frustrated us as we have been investing in improvements to make the place more enjoyable.

In past past year a lot of plumbing and a new commercial septic was installed. We were still having odor issues so our amazing plumber Kelsey has been working on a process of elimination to determine the source. We finally found the problem today. There is an old, corroded and broken exhaust pipe in the wall between the two bathrooms. If all goes well the wall will be opened up tomorrow morning and the problem fixed.

Just a reminder for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th. We were very fortunate to have two local companies offer to help sponsor the event to keep the costs down. A big shout out to Upper Lakes Foods and Como Oil!

Pay at the pump is back online.

Currently our gas pump credit card processing system is down and we cannot take pay at the pump transactions. We can still pre-pay inside for gas. We will post again when pay at the pump is functioning again.
