Just stopping for a moment to soak it all in. β€οΈ
This year has been absolutely crazy.
Weβve been building a new commercial kitchen. Traveling all over for events. Welcoming new wholesale partners and accounts. Growing our team. Creating new products. Breaking sales records. Raising a newborn and a toddler. Balancing our military lives. And somewhere in between all of thatβ¦ trying to remember to sleep. π
There have been so many moments this year where Iβve looked around and thought, How in the world are we actually doing this?
And the answer is really simple:
We arenβt doing it alone.
Minnesota Marshmallow may have started as our dream, but what it has become has been built by so many hands, so many late nights, and so many people who have chosen to stand beside us when we needed them most.
To every person who has stood next to me in the kitchen making marshmallows for hours on endβ¦
To the people who have sat around our house stickering bags late into the night because there simply werenβt enough hours in the dayβ¦
To the team members who have finished an absolutely exhausting, record-breaking day at an event and STILL stayed up late helping us restock, prep, pack, and make sure we could wake up the next morning and do it all over againβ¦
To the grandparents, family members, babysitters, and friends who have loved on our babies so we could keep this dream moving forwardβ¦
To the friends who have jumped into trailers, tents, kitchens, vehicles, and whatever other chaos we happened to need help with that dayβ¦
And especially to the people who have walked into our kitchen having absolutely NO IDEA what they were doing and simply said, βTell me what you need.β πβ€οΈ
Thank you.
There truly aren't words big enough for the gratitude we have for you.
Running a small business is hard.
Running a growing small business while raising two little kids, balancing two military careers, traveling to events, managing employees, expanding wholesale, AND building a commercial kitchen has been one of the most rewarding and unimaginably challenging things we have ever done.
And there have been moments when the only reason we were able to keep going was because someone else stepped in and carried a piece of it with us.
That is something I will never forget.
Because the truth is, without all of you, Minnesota Marshmallow would not be where it is today.
And where we are right now feels really special.
Yes, the record sales are exciting. The new partnerships are exciting. Watching our kitchen being built is exciting. Seeing this little idea continue to grow beyond anything we could have imagined is incredible.
But I think one of the things I am proudest of is the group of people surrounding us while we do it.
We have an outstanding team. We have incredible family and friends. We have people who genuinely care about our success and about each other.
And every single day, we try to lead our kitchen and our company with gratitude.
Gratitude for the people who work beside us.
Gratitude for the people who support us.
Gratitude for every customer who spends their hard-earned money with our small business.
Gratitude for every store that takes a chance on our products.
Gratitude for every person who tells a friend about us, shares a post, visits us at an event, or comes back year after year.
And gratitude that somehow, through all of the chaos, exhaustion, babies, deployments, construction, marshmallow-covered kitchens, trailers, tents, late nights and early morningsβ¦
we get to do this.
So tonight, I'm just stopping for a minute.
Not worrying about the next event.
Not thinking about the next order.
Not looking at the next thing on the never-ending to-do list.
Just looking around at what we've built together and feeling incredibly, overwhelmingly grateful.
Minnesota Marshmallow would not be Minnesota Marshmallow without the people who have helped carry us here.
From the absolute bottom of our heartsβ¦
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for working beside us.
Thank you for loving our family.
Thank you for helping us keep this crazy dream alive.
We will never forget the hands that helped us build it. β€οΈ
And somehowβ¦ I have a feeling we're only getting started. π₯Ήβ€οΈπΊπΈ
