We love creating delicious food and beautiful tables, but one of the best parts of what we do is the amazing people we meet along the way. And we’re not just talking about our wonderful clients and guests. We’re also talking about the talented vendors we get to work with throughout the Outer Banks. Recently, our friends at I Do OBX Weddings & Events invited us to be part of a styled photoshoot at their stunning new venue, Diamond on the Sound and we had such a fantastic time creating together!

You know who else came out of Pirates Cove as winners? THIS CREW!
More than 9,000 people fed in one week. Thousands of plates. Early mornings. Late nights. Hot kitchens. Constant prep. And a whole lot of “keep it moving.”
None of it happens without the people behind the scenes.
The hands chopping, cooking, carrying, plating, serving, cleaning, resetting… and somehow finding enough energy to do it all over again the next day.
They worked their asses off. They adapted when the numbers changed. They jumped in wherever they were needed. And they kept the quality, the energy, and the food coming until the last guest was fed.

Last night at the Alice Kelly Tournament, even a mini storm couldn’t wash away the good vibes. Once it rolled through, everyone picked right back up where they left off, relaxed, laughing, and enjoying the evening. We even spotted a rainbow!
For us at Red Sky Catering, that’s what it’s all about: keeping everyone well-fed and happy no matter what! Rain or shine, the food keeps coming and the good times keep rolling.
After all, a little rough water makes for a better fishing story!!

The ladies have officially taken over the docks!
Yesterday, they got registered, dressed up and kicked things off in true Alice Kelly style. Today, the heels are off, the lines are in and these ladies are out chasing billfish!
While they’re working on the catch of the day, the Red Sky Catering crew is back at the docks getting ready for another kind of feeding frenzy. Fresh, nutritious and seriously delicious food will be waiting when the boats come home.
Tight lines, ladies! Go reel in the big ones. We’ve got dinner covered!
