The Ragbrai event was really cool!

All the riders we had at the café were very happy, many of them wish the ride was a little longer. This group from Chicago stopped in for brunch before dipping their tires into the Mississippi to finish the run.

Although I could not meet every single person individually, as a collective of riders, I want to share my gratitude and respect for their intentions on a bicycle. For happiness, for Health, for environmental sustainability, and for demonstrating that all ages can enjoy these rights to travel in America.

The special sandwich that we are still serving on these hot summer days is Sarah‘s deli style cold curry chicken salad on toasted croissant.

Open Monday, Tuesday 8 to 12.
Rest of the week 8 to 3 provided we are getting traffic.

Devour Cafe is more of an American business versus a Corporate United States business.

Constitutionally speaking.

It’s kind of weird America had a whole revolutionary war to separate itself from a European monarchy and then 250 years later, Un-united States is basically fully functioning like a European monarchy. With a little democratic sham voting sprinkled in.

Just wanted to make the distinction that there is a nation operating under principles of morals, ethics, good health, good life, good peace, good vibes versus a greedy corporate political system trying to force us to be more like North Korea. No thank you North Korea.
