To the Guests of Pete’s Thai, the Northside neighborhood, & the employees of PTK:
It is with pure sadness, that I have made the difficult decision to permanently CLOSE Pete's Thai Kitchen - Dubuque, IA after service on SUNDAY JANUARY 25th 2026.
We WILL be OPEN through January 25th with normal business hours!! Come on over, or call 563-582-2816 & get your fix 1, 3, 5, or 55 more times by 8 PM SUNDAY JANUARY 25th 2026.
💟 instead of asking “why?” here ya’ go:
8 years ago was just a 29 year old server with a DREAM to start my own food truck. I bought my truck and one month later I was thrown into Pete’s as the first manager. I learned to love Thai food. I knew nothing about it. 2 years later, with my parents help, I became an owner. The variety of guests, incredible chefs, wonderful employees, joyous moments, and the amazing food, is what has kept me here, and Pete’s Thai, alive for so long. I have succeeded at achieving what I thought I wanted my future to be, however, my passion is in fine dining and I know that is where I thrive.
To all of the AMAZING guests, employees- past and present that have carried this place when I couldn’t, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOU. 💟
