I would like to take a moment and say thank you to all my wonderful customers that have supported me through my 20+ year journey as manager at Roadside Cafe and Creamery.
I reflect back on a little joke between myself and my daughter who was a cook at the time, and still is- how we felt that our parking lot was the hottest turn around spot in Dubois my first couple years there. With the help of all of our customers and a very dedicated hard working staff, I watched the restaurant turn into one of the favorite places in Dubois for many.
I now have to announce the fact the Roadside Cafe and Creamery will be closing on Thursday October 31st at 7:00 pm and will be closed for the winter months. It will reopen in the spring under new ownership. I will miss each and every one of you not only as a customer, but as a friend that we have become. Giving the community a place to enjoy and grab lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price is what I carried alot of pride for. The smiling faces on children is the thing that warmed my heart every time I saw one. Please know how much I appreciated each one of you.
Look forward to spring and I hope that you support the new owners and staff as you did me. Thank you - Donna
