Massaman Curry
It is believed that this dish was introduced to Thailand by Persian merchants and soon became an integral part of the Thai Muslim cuisine. In fact, historical writers believe that the name Massaman could also have been originated from the word 'Mussulman' which is another word for Muslim.

The flavors of Massaman Curry Paste are influenced by Malay and India with the fragrant spices coriander, cumin, cardamom and cinnamon. It is then perfectly balanced with classic Thai spices, the sourness of tamarind and slightly sweetened. Massaman is usually make with chicken and always a few chunks of potatoes that have delightfully soaked up the coconut milk like a sponge. Massaman Curry is usually eaten with rice.

What does “cook to order” mean to you?
I've always taken "cooked to order" means that they don't cook it until after you order and its not sitting around under a heat lamp!
All of Thai dishes are cooked fresh right after you order; each takes about 10-15 minutes. And will be served in the order of arrival of requests.

Why is Thai Food Vegan Friendly?
Thailand is traditionally a Buddhist country and many Buddhists are vegetarian or vegan, making Thai food generally plant based. This has changed over time and meat and seafood are now common ingredients in Thai food, but it's still vegan-friendly cuisine.

Pad Kee Mao/Drunken Noodles made with wide rice noodles, soy sauce, garlic, meat, seafood, chili, fresh black pepper pods and holy basil, which give rise to its distinctive spiciness. Vegan Thai Drunken Noodles also available.

Why is Pad Kee Mao Called Drunken Noodles?
There are many different stories of how these noodles became known as Drunken Noodles because there is no alcohol in the recipe. One theory is that they are so spicy, those partaking get drunk in the process of trying to quench their thirst. Another anecdotal explanation is that during the Vietnam War, the US troops couldn’t pronounce the colloquially pronounced name for mixed noodles dish that sounded to them like “Drunken”, and that’s how the name became popular.

Is Pad Kee Mao healthy?
We don't always think of take-out as being healthy, but Thai food offers some surprising health benefits. And, Thai dishes don't tend to be terribly high in calories, either. Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles both have a moderate calorie count, making them a good choice at a restaurant.

If you like spicy dishes ...this one would be great for you ...CHICKEN PAD KEE MAO.

If you're not used to eating spicy foods, don’t worry. We can adjust the level of spiciness!

Made with yellow chilies, lemongrass, galangal, roasted garlic and shallots, lime zest, lemongrass, fish sauce, and spices, including turmeric, this recipe is as real as it gets. Yellow curry paste is the mildest of the three Thai curry pastes, which include red, yellow, and green.

Thai curries are best served with rice because it has a fairly neutral flavor that allows you to fully appreciate the complex taste of the curries. The rice also works as the perfect sponge to soak up the Thai curry sauce, which is often a thinner consistency than other curries.
