📖Story time!📖

So many of you have asked how Little Hannah’s got its name and if it’s changing when we move. You may be surprised to know that it has nothing to do with the size of the building!😂

Hannah Stoltzfus (left) opened the bake shoppe in 2003. Hannah is a family name that goes back several generations, and for most of her life she has been called Little Hannah while her mom, also Hannah Stoltzfus (right, with her husband Amos) is called Big Hannah! They still answer to these names and it’s an easy way to avoid confusion.😁 So when Little Hannah decided to open a bakery, she chose the name Little Hannah’s Bake Shoppe. Lyndall, our owner, is married to her niece Carla, so it’s still in the family and the name is here to stay! And no matter what the future holds, we’ll always be proud to be Little Hannah’s.❤️

🏡✨ Behind the Scenes: Part 2!

Our new bakery is starting to come together, and we’re loving watching the progress happen little by little!

There’s been a LOT going on—work on the front porch, a new culvert going in, new flooring being laid inside, and countless other things that go into making something like this happen. As you can see, we’ve been getting the entire family involved and we’re so grateful for all the hard work that’s been put into this project!

It’s still a work in progress, but we can already start to picture all the sweet memories and baked goods that will fill this place!🥐🍪

🎉 Employee Spotlight 🎉

Today we’re celebrating two very special members of our bakery family—Nelson and Karen! ❤️

For the past 4 years, Nelson and Karen have spent several evenings a week after hours rolling and filling our fried pies. It’s a big job, and the incredible work they do takes a HUGE load off our shoulders! We truly couldn’t be more grateful for their time, dedication, and willingness to jump in and help make it all happen.

And let’s be honest… fried pies are everyone’s favorite! 🥧❤️ So every delicious bite is made possible in part because of these two!
