“Visiting from Miami we were looking for a soul food restaurant and google this restaurant. We were not disappointed. Food was great, service was impeccable and the price was reasonable. The owner even came out to meet and greet each table, unbelievable. After talking with him we ask would he talk a photo with us and of course he said with a smile sure. If you are in the Utah Salt Lake City area and looking for some good soul food please visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.”

That little green tomato has been having a rough week… 🍅😔

We haven’t had our fried green tomatoes on the menu the last couple of weeks because our food distributor has been impacted by the deep freeze last month. Unfortunately, a lot of local farms and crops were hit hard, and that ripple effect has made its way all the way to our kitchen.

We’re especially thinking about the farmers and producers who’ve been affected- this kind of weather doesn’t just change menus, it impacts real people and livelihoods.

We miss those crispy fried green tomatoes just as much as you do (maybe more… but don’t tell the other menu items 👀). As soon as supply is back, they’ll be back where they belong.

Until then, we appreciate your patience, your support, and your appetite for the comeback 💚🍅
