Founded in 2017 by Fawn Weaver, Uncle Nearest honors the legacy of Nathan “Nearest” Green, the first known African American master distiller an enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel the craft of whiskey making.

Crafted in Shelbyville, Tennessee, this award-winning whiskey is blended by Victoria Eady Butler, a direct descendant of Nearest Green and Master Blender since 2019.

I’ve learned to focus on the process just as much as the outcome. Running my own mobile bar isn’t just about showing up and serving drinks…it’s the hours behind the scenes that shape the experience. From content marketing and grocery runs to tasting, testing, and constantly educating myself, every step is part of the journey. It’s hard work, but it’s work I love. There’s nothing like watching people loosen up, connect, and truly enjoy the moment together. My cocktails and mocktails aren’t just drinks, they’re an invitation to get out of your seat, to laugh, to vibe, to celebrate.
