I would like to take this time to make a post about the other individuals in yesterday’s accident. Landon Smith and Raleigh Corbin, both Dover students, were on their way to a school dance. My heart breaks for them because their date night definitely did not go as planned. When they collided with Wayne and Paula, their jeep flipped, which I know was super scary. As with Wayne and Paula, I can only imagine the terror they all experienced. These kids will definitely need our prayers as well. At the young age of 17, they are not as willing to get back in their vehicle as they once were. The shock will eventually wear off which we are all grateful for, but that will take some time. Please also keep their parents in your prayers. That was definitely my biggest fear when my kids were driving and this will definitely heighten their fear for their children. We are so blessed to have all 4 in our lives still. And we are so blessed to have so many prayers going their way. We just want to let everyone know they are not badly hurt. And neither side is wanting all the drama. They are both super glad everyone is ok.

We are so blessed to know that Paula only has fractured bones in her neck and back. No surgery required and may be released soon. Wayne is in ICU to make sure the brain bleed doesn’t get out of control. He also has some fractures but no surgery is needed for him either!!
I haven’t heard anything about the other driver and am I praying that they have only minor injuries as well. Please keep both families in your prayers

We are requesting special prayers for our dear MAK Daddy’s family members. Paula and Wayne were out on a date night when their truck was hit totaling their truck. Paula side was hit first and spun them around which somehow caused Wayne to hit his head on the windshield. He temporarily lost consciousness but is now aware of his surroundings. Paula is experiencing some pain as well. They did fly Wayne to UAMS where he will get checked out to make sure everything is ok. Paula is being driven to the same hospital by her daughter where she is also going to be checked out. They would really appreciate any prayers you can send their way. Their truck was totaled but God had His Angels surrounding them!!

I do not have any information on the other vehicle involved but we are praying for them as well
