What an incredible journey it's been since November! We've explored so many paths, testing, rethinking, and starting over to find the perfect direction for Idlewild Whiskey Company. Working alongside my daughter Ainsley has been a truly eye-opening experience, even for someone like me who's spent a lifetime in hospitality. This dream, two years in the making, has been met with mind-blowing excitement and encouragement from all of you. We aim to share a real, grounded story, one that reveals what it truly takes to build something significant. Our story stretches back almost ninety years to 1937 when Red, on instinct, bought a farmhouse in Maine that blossomed into Idlewild Camps—a place that became a second home for families, year after year. I can only imagine the feeling of watching it grow, built by the people who kept returning. Now, with my daughter Ainsley, my wife Alyson, and our children Ashton, Beckham, Balack, and Aiya, we are proudly carrying that legacy forward. This isn't just a whiskey company; it's the legacy of my grandparents, Red and Vicky, and it's our privilege to continue it. Thank you for being a part of this with us! 🥃✨
