We are thrilled to be at the heart of Downtown Dothan and serving the community through the means of delicious coffee and meaningful interactions.

Bird & Bean Coffee House has been dedicated to building meaningful connections and elevating the craft of Specialty coffee in the Downtown Historic District of Dothan, AL since 2017. Bird & Bean Coffee House has been serving award-winning Specialty coffee from Crimson Cup Coffee since July 2017 and locally-roasted coffee from Protostar Coffee Labs since September 2020. Back again for another night of festive revelry, you don’t want to miss ☘️Shamrock ‘N Thistles☘️, our favourite local Celtic band. Like you might find in pubs and cafés with other bands across Ireland and the British Isles, Shamrock ‘N Thistles will be holding another delightful practice session in Bird & Bean Coffee House. Come one, come all! Bring your friends and family! August 28, 2026 6pm-8pm.

We’re so excited to be celebrating our 9th birthday at Bird & Bean. We can’t believe it’s already been 9 years! We’ve seen so much change and growth downtown in that time, and we can’t wait to see what lies ahead. It’s ultimately because of YOU that we have made it this far, so a humongous THANK YOU to all of you in Dothan, the Wiregrass area, and even from all over the world who have come in and made it all happen. We can’t express our gratitude enough!

After my interview on Morning Mingle at WTVY News 4, I did in fact make the short trip down to Bird and Bean Coffee House (downtown Dothan). I carried in my cupcake that I snagged from Britt’s Southern Bakery and ordered a Vanilla Latte. This beautiful drink was like comfort in a cup. Flavored with house-made vanilla syrup, this latte definitely reminded me why we put Bird & Bean on our Noms Top 20 list! Pop in and give them a try if you’ve never been, and if you have been, you already know! ☕️
