Good morning everyone!

Although I don’t have a Bake Day this week, that doesn’t mean baking isn’t happening!

Yesterday, I delivered 33 loaves of sandwich bread for a donation to help the less fortunate in our community! ❤️

I’m so blessed to be able to do this, and hope to make it a regular donation, likely every other week.

I’m planning on putting a donation “item” on the website, if anyone would like to help, under the Feed the 5000 logo. This is our charity side of the bakery. We are not a 501(c)3, so your donation will not be tax deductible, but if you feel like you want to help, I will be happy to apply the funds to this area specifically. 😊

I am planning out the menu for next week, and heads up, I’m feeling the fall spirit!!

Those that are subscribers to our email, keep an eye out for your email on Thursday!

Have a great week!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!

I tested one of my new flours in a small batch of my DD Cookies. I am shocked at how much the flavors just popped out! They taste so much richer and fuller. Like you can taste every bit in there!!
Add to that, real organic vanilla (not extract, just vanilla), and this has taken the DDs to a whole new level!

Those that ordered some this week are in for a treat!

If you haven't ordered yet, the window to do so closes at 5pm tonight. You can go to the website: bentoakbakery.com, and click on the weekly bakes tab. Pick up is Saturday, from 9am-noon.

Until then, please have a drool over this photo!

Oh my goodness!

I was so lucky to be able to stop at the Farmer’s Storehouse this morning!

I was giddy like a kid in a candy store!
Everyone there is so kind, helpful, and answered all my questions!

I am so excited to start baking with some of the amazing flours and wheat berries I got! All organic, and milled on site. They even have a grain testing area I got to peek in on. All their grains are tested to be sure they are clean and contain no pesticides!! Got some lovely blue corn too!!

Im a happy baker!!
