Wow!!! What a huge response to the email idea!! You all really spoke up! 😊😊

I had a few people test the function, and it seems to be working. I’m a pretty good baker, but tech wise, it took some work to get it done!

When you sign up, you should receive an email confirmation, with option for you to confirm. I want to make sure everyone who signs up did so on purpose, and not by accident.

This is a new step, and we will be sending those newsletters out as soon as I figure that out! 🤣🤣🤣

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

I am thinking of offering an email program, with a link on the website. This would likely be only 1 or 2 per month, and I may add discount codes for orders, pre-ordering notices, first knowledge of upcoming items and events, and maybe a bit of bread knowledge for fun! I promise not to send you messages every day!! Haha!!

So, would you be interested in this?
I feel like this would help so people won't miss important dates. I get so many messages of people that miss cut-off times, or events, it just seems like this might help.

The website, bentoakbakery.com, will be open for pre-orders today at 4pm. Ordering will close on Tues, 1st Sept at 5pm. Click on the “Weekly Bakes” tab.

Pick up will be at Past and Present Antique Mall, at their Fall Market Days, 8:30am -12pm.

Good morning! Just a reminder to everybody about pick up today, from nine until 12. We have quite a few orders today so if you will have an order number ready that will help. 😊😊
There will be no bake day next week, but we will be at the Fall Market Days located at the Past and Present Antique Mall on Saturday, 5 September. We will be offering pre-orders, as soon as I get the menu nailed down.
If you have any requests for that market day, please let me know, and I will do my best to get them on the menu.

In the meantime, here’s a photo of one of the loaves going out this morning!

Ordering will close at 5pm, 18 Aug, and pick up is Saturday, 22 August, 9am-12pm.

***NOTE*** We have changed the pick up day to Saturdays to better help people who cannot pick up on a weekday. We hope this helps. 🙂

Good morning!!!

I wanted to get the news out that we will be at Fall Market Days, 5th Sept, at Past and Present Antique & Flea Market!!
(Hwy 84, Level Plains). 🎉🎉

As the date gets closer, I will set up pre-ordering for the event.

Im excited to meet new people and hopefully see some of you there as well!!

Good morning!
We are getting back to baking, and have just opened pre-orders on the website; bentoakbakery.com. Click on the ‘Weekly Bakes’ tab. I was beginning to have withdrawals from not baking! 😆😆

The menu is limited, but it has the classic favorites!

Classic sourdough bread.
Sourdough sandwich bread
Blueberry lemon scones.

Pre-orders will close at 5 PM, on August 4. Pick up will be on August 7, between 10 AM to noon, and 2 to 5 PM. The address will be on your order form.

Good Morning!

Wow! What an amazing market season at Poplar Head Farmers Market!

I cannot begin to tell you how thankful we are to all the customers that came out, and supported us. We sold out every market day, with a line formed as soon as the market opened! Baking for people and seeing how much they enjoy it, and keep coming back, is quite frankly, just overwhelmingly joyful!!! 😊😊

I also want to provide breads for those that are in need. If you work with, or know of, a charity/church/or organization group that would like to have some fresh breads, please have them reach out to me here via PM, or email me at [email protected].

I have been blessed to be able to do this and want to bless others! ❤️❤️

Please keep checking here on our page, and we will keep you updated on future bake days, after a break to regroup and take a bit of a rest! 😂😂
