Hello Dodge City!! 🍔❤️🍟
⚡️We have an absolutely incredible week ahead ! There are a ton of structural changes I’ve also begun for our front of house team! 🥳🥳 Angelica and I both realized that we needed to take a step back and reflect where our largest errors stem from. I believe I should have prepped our team better for the volume we’ve experienced and I also think I failed to take the time and explain just why I care so deeply about what we do to our team. I want to apologize to any customers who might have felt ignored during their dining experience. I truly feel I should have done a better job of structuring the front of house better but I can assure you, we’ll take every measurable unit to provide an incredible meal if we’re lucky enough to serve you again!! 🍔❤️
⚡️We also had a team meeting this morning and it was a really big refresher for what we’re trying to do at our business. One of my favorite comfort meals when I’m stressed is a cheeseburger and fries, sometimes a good meal can change the entire direction of your day and I think we’re really lucky to have guests who come in and finish their day with our team or celebrate one of their greatest achievements with us! Wherever that spectrum lands on, I feel we owe it to them to provide not only a great meal but also incredible hospitality. So, we’re taking a traditional dining experience route and ensuring we have a (Host, Server, Manager) up front during service. These extra steps will ensure we always have a team member assisting a customer during their meal or being sat at a table/ booth or food is always being ran immediately, I’m hoping it increases our checkout process with online ordering and also the dine in experience for our guests !! We’re incredibly lucky to see the business growing so I want to do everything in my power to honor and respect every customer who walks through our door, I’ll keep learning to bring you the best possible service everyone!! I’ll also hold myself accountable for the areas I can improve !! Thank you for trusting our team Dodge City!! 🍔❤️🍟
⚡️I’m also refocusing a lot of energy back into the core of what we do! Bringing you the absolute best smash burgers in southwest Kansas !! 🥳🥳 So, during our team meeting we also discussed some of the items we’ll keep improving for our guests. We’re swapping out our plastic chipotle cup during dine in meals and upgrading it to a ramekin!! There’s a larger volume we can fit inside so there’s hopefully more to enjoy with your fries ! 🍟🍟 We also have some of the strongest cooks our team has been fortunate to work with!! They’re helping me ensure our burgers aren’t being burned or going past where I would consider our quality standard. We also have an incredible team of expo’s who ensure every burger is picture perfect which I’m really proud of!! 🥳 It’s tricky working with high heat so we get a pretty narrow window to ensure we nail it every time! Thankfully, we’re seeing a lot of consistency in our kitchen during the build process and with all the burgers being cooked! I’m excited as we step into Dodge City Days knowing these elements of the business are at the absolute best they’ve ever been ! 🍔❤️🍟
⚡️Last item I was hoping to share was an update on the food truck !! 🥳🥳 This is the first year where I’d really like to create our event arm in the business and it’s often an area I’d have to say no to, because of the capability of the food truck. However, I’ve learned over this year my team is really excited and capable of handling large capacity orders! We’ll have our largest event this Saturday in Fowler, Ks to put our team to the test! I’m incredibly thankful to the city of Fowler for allowing us to be a part of their 18th Annual Threshing Event!! I hope we see you there!! 🎉🎊🥳
