Just a reminder that when we open on Memorial Day weekend, we will only be serving ice cream and coffee/espresso drinks. Our gift section will be open as always. Since I plan to be CLOSED at the end of the month for the memorial service for Bill, I will not be doing any sandwiches until the first full weekend in June. Look forward to seeing all of you this summer!

PLEASE NOTE UPDATE ON SERVICE FOR BILL.
This past Sunday, February 22, 2026 Bill Mitchem went home to be with the Lord. He and his wife Martha were key in making Bedrock Depot become not only a reality, but for many of you a favorite place to eat and visit. While the idea was actually my crazy dream, I wouldn't have done it without them. Bill was all in from the get go, we just had to convince our spouses that it would work. Bill was 73 when we bought the property and did the remodel, and worked almost EVERY SINGLE DAY! After Martha passed on November 9, 2014, just weeks after they had celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary, he still continued to work, AND to host our exchange students! His commitment, his enthusiasm, his love of life cannot be overstated. He was an inspiration to many, but especially to me. For those of you in the area, the family plans to hold a memorial service for him on May 30, 2026 at the Elks Park in Rangely at 2:00pm.

Just a reminder, we have only 3 days left in the 2025 season. We are now down to just 7 flavors. Front row: Mint chocolate Chip, Snickers, Orange Cream. Back row: Chocolate Mint, Vanilla, Strawberry, Pecan Praline.
Sunday, October 12th will be our LAST day for this year.

I know I haven't kept up on posting ice cream flavors, but here is what we currently have available.
Front row: Sweet Cream, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Stratigraphic Cream, M & M. Back row: Chocolate Mint Chip, Vanilla, Strawberry, Maple Walnut.

Also, we will be closed tomorrow - August 12th, due to some appointments we have in Grand Junction. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Front Row: Coffee Brea, Rhubarb (new tub), Chocolate Chip, Butterfinger. Back Row, cinnamon chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, butter Pecan.

I've been terrible about posting flavors, but since I did make Rhubarb ice cream again this year, thought I should let you all know it's now available. Current line up is: Front Row - Honey Lemon Ginger, Rhubarb, Coconut Lime, Peanut. Back Row - Chocolate, Vanilla, Cherry, Butter Pecan.

Saturday, May 24, 2025 will be our first day to be OPEN for the 2025 season. Hours will be 11:30 am- 4:00 pm. Sunday hours will always be 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Mon. & Tues. hours will be 11:30 am - 4:00 pm. We look forward to serving you!
